The project
The two-year project (2023-2024) focuses on three key governance areas, interconnected through the lens of adaptation to local climate change impacts:

The 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda at the Metropolitan City level

Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), particularly the requirements for climate impact assessments and DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) evaluations for municipally funded projects.
Aimed primarily at policymakers and technical staff from the Metropolitan City of Milan and its 133 Municipalities, IndicaMi bridges the gap between the strategic vision of Milan’s Metropolitan Sustainable Development Agenda 2030, and local action by Municipal Administrations on climate resilience and its (primarily, though not exclusively) environmental implications.
